General Radio Operator License (GROL)
The FCC requires this license for anyone who repairs or maintains shipboard or aircraft radio stations. The license demonstrates technical expertise and knowledge. Many employers and industries within the maritime and aviation fields require this license. This license can also receive a Ship Radar Endorsement. To earn this license you must pass two exams, Element 1 and 3. For the Ship Radar Endorsement, Element 8 must also be passed. Passing Element 1 only will also earn a Marine Radio Operator Permit (MROP). Instruction and exams are given in person. Practice exams are provided as needed with no additional cost. Study materials and booklets are included.

EPA 609: Mobile Air Conditioning
The EPA 609 certification permits service technicians to service and repair mobile air conditioning units common within the automotive industry as well as some use within aviation. Instruction and exam is given in person.
